ignorance is bliss :
… even to remain inert and passive is to make a choice. Not choosing is in itself a choice. Just as choosing to not look at something indicates that you have already viewed to some extent. Not looking is defined by look (per idealism’s tenet of internal coherence, terms and relations logically determine one another) and is in reality only a choice to not look further. Not choosing is only making the most passive choice of the possibilities.
…ignorance truly is bliss, but given our logical/observational/deductive skills and sense, few of us are ever so fortunate as to possess true ignorance. instead, by making an informed choice to not use these skills we manufacture a state of non-knowing, a sort of self-induced ignorance.
