It’s just that when you discuss energy it usually involves concepts like meditation and controlling or using that energy (even casually). It places an emphasis on human capacity and capability, so conceptually it’s at odds with the Biblical principle of relinquishing our human/compromised weaknesses and strengths. Christianity is working from the idea that humanity is fallen, essentially corrupt, and as such, is in no position to improve itself. The emphasis is on drawing positive energy/strength from God - through personal interaction. From that perspective, you wouldn’t want to make things worse for the people around you with verbal abuse or general nastiness, but you wouldn’t have any conviction that you could generate positive energy or necessarily make things better.

And then… Christianity is way different from virtually all other beliefs in that… It requires so much isolation, and “unpleasant” experiences, and revelation of… suffering that even while one can draw strength/positive energy from the relationship, there’s an equal portion of things that absolutely break you. Jesus wasn’t all about positive energy and goodness, but about paying a universal price for our compromised nature (just hear the headlines, “Christianity - The Blood Faith”Hey cutie! - providing an avenue to restore us, through our obedience. There’s a verse that talks about “to know him in his suffering”. The implications are anything but positive
