Very well might be the single most yummy nail polish colour I’ve ever picked up. It’s like, crimson brushed with baby pink, and it’s deep and irridescent and just a wee bit skanky. It’s gorgeous w/ my this-summer’s-sandals. It’s Revlon nail enamel, in case anybody cares.
Right, what was I doing today besides waxing rhasphodic about my nail polish?
Fading Cadence has been updated with new sites (new sites that I forgot to e-mail the authors about their addition) - also, all of the existing sites have been double checked for dead links and broken buttons thanks to the ever-industrious ALANA. Dude, you so own me - it was going to be actual months before I proofed the entire exchange for errors.
Also, Dangerous Curves is still open/functioning and totally accepting submissions. It’s still a link directory and I’m still in love with the layout. So go add your projects losers!
One of my soapmaking colleagues who I so totally admire but don’t know very well has an online catalog featuring her soap/lotion/candles/perfumes and most importantly gourmet teas! So, last week I ordered an ounce of the Gypsy Ambrosia that came in the cutest little silver tin. It’s like, a simple luxury. It’s a complex but peachy tea with subtle nuances of lemon and rose. Exquisite. I’m also eyeing her Vanilla Moon Green Tea, Fairy Tale, Midnight in Renton, and her Caribbean Beauty (a to-die-for blend of black and green teas, hibiscus, guava, coconut and strawberry accented with marigolds and cornflowers. ) And shipped like, overnight. I also grabbed a roll-on perfume in Love Potion #9 - and now I smell fruity and edible. In a good way. So yeah - Scent By Spirit.
Recently list is so totally updated and accurate. And tomorrow I’m working again. This was my first weekend-off in forever and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Back to the daily grind on Monday. And you wouldn’t believe how much beer and underwear people leave behind.
P.S. I need a replacement 5mm watch band and can’t find any on e-Bay. This means that I don’t know where else to look. Any suggestions? The other thing I need is a new name for my coconut/lemongrass soap. Gilligan just isn’t cutting it. Come up with something evil and I’ll love you forever (on top of sending free product).

Tropical Madness? Anything involving coconuts seems quite mad to me. I actually have no useful knowledge of lemongrass, however.
‘Bout time you posted again, BTW. (Like I can talk)
Stephen at July 7, 2004 06:30 PMFor the first one? I have no idea… and as for a name for the soap you had named Gilligan, did you ever consider CocoNuts? Or a similar play on words…
Kris at July 9, 2004 04:27 AMNice blog! I’m sorry I won’t be of any help with the make up stuff. I don’t use any.

Hmm, Tropical Madness, CocoNuts… These ideas have potential you guys. What’s weird is that Gilligan actually used to be called “Bedlam” after the mental institiute. You know, ‘cause it’s “full of nuts”. Har har har.
I wonder though, what it is about coconut that demands a theme of “lunacy”. ![]()
Hmm… probably because it has the word ‘nut’ in it. At least, that’s my guess.
