We, are give our Smack! lineup a facelift. We’re sticking with 24 single-notes, because I feel juggling anymore would be asking for trouble, but we are looking at jettisoning Summer Melon, Lemon Meringue and/or Lei Flowers. These three candidates are only up for consideration because they move so slooooowly. So while I hate to part with Lei Flowers, one of our two floral selections, perhaps we could line up a better blending floral. And Lemon Meringue and Summer Melon are both light fruity delicious scents, we have a good selection of fruity single notes, and those slots might be better occupied with other scents.
On our list of considerations are:
- Apple Orchard - Red Delicious and Granny Smiths.
- Bluegrass - Chamomile, sweet hay, and grass stains.
- Bonfire - Sweet brown sugar and big gusts of smoke.
- Matcha - Perfect green tea.
- Mint Medley - Peppermint, Spearmint and Cornmint essential Oils.
So drop us a line or weigh in on the forum and let us know what you think!

Bonfire, Apple Orchard or Bluegrass, in that order of preference.
However, I will pine if Lemon Meringue goes away!

Bonfire sounds DELICIOUS, I may just get a full Smack! of that if you guys added it! Matcha also sounds lovely!

Ooh. I like Matcha, Bonfire, and Mint Medley, myself. :9 What’s that you say? Scintillating-esque Smack? Yum. ^_^!

Apple Orchard sounds wonderful! Bluegrass sounds pretty good too.

I’d love apple orchard, but bonfire and bluegrass sound wonderful too.

I would love to see Bonfire and Matcha added, though I love Lemon Meringue and will be sad if it goes

Bonfire sounds the best. Smoke, yum.
Matcha and then Blue Grass sound the best after that.

Bluegrass, Matcha & Bonfire in that order of preference!

Hmmm… didn’t even know there *was* a lemon meringue. Would hate to see Lei Flowers leave! Bonfire, Chamomile and the mints all sound like perfect additions.

Apple Orchard and Matcha!

Matcha!

I’d have to agree with Matcha, Bonfire, and Mint Medley. Bonfire would be the top pick!

Mint! MINT. Yes! I was hoping for that.
Ditching some of the sparky fruit is not a bad idea. I do think finding a floral to replace Lei Flowers is sensible.
Personally, I’d love to see a lavender note in there somewhere.
Mmm… or orange blossom.

mint, bonfire, and apple!

Apple Orchard and Bluegrass have my votes!

I think Bluegrass sounds delightful, but I was just waiting for summer to order Lemon Meringue (yes! lemon!!!) and the other two summer fragrances (melon & lei). I think wait for the warm weather to get here then decide.

Bonfire! Must have

Mint Medley…
Apple Orchard….
Heck yes!!
Will there be advance notice prior to discontinuing any of the scents? I’d have to stock up on some full jars of the Lei Flowers!
Posted by Erina | January 27, 2010 12:54 AM
I’d be way more likely to order the ones that you are looking at discontinuing over the “new” ones. You are very heavy on the “deep” scents, and the more “light” ones, the better.

I’m gonna have to beg.
Please please please don’t kill Lemon Meringue! The Lemon Meringue/Marshmallow combo is like a thing of majesty and wonder, and my favourite combo.
Of the proposed new scents, though, I’d be stoked to see Mint Medley make it in.
Pleeeeease keep Lemon Meringue, though!
TC.

Like the sound of apple orchard and bluegrass the most, all of them sound delicious.

I’m with Trudy: Please don’t kill lemon meringue!! It is so delicious!
My order of preference/love for new scents:
1. Mint Medley - SCINTILLATING SMACK FTW!!
2. Bonfire - nom nom nom
3. Apple Orchard
4. Matcha - tied with Apple Orchard
5. Bluegrass - I don’t like chamomile, so this one is last.

Mint Medley!!!! Bonfire sounds good too.
And I would be sad about Lemon Meringue.

Yes to apples and bonfires!
Jettison the fruits, but keep Lei Flowers for summer!
